Although medjool dates are small, they are explosive in taste. This appetizer balances the sweetness of medjool dates with the saltiness of roquefort cheese and bacon.
40 pitted dates
.5 cup Roquefort cheese
18 bacon slices cut into 1/3
40 wooden picks
*Stuff the dates with cheese and wrap them with bacon. Stick the wooden picks through the bacon and date. Store them in the refrigerator so they cool.
Bake for 5 minutes before serving.
