Ahi Tacos

These ahi tacos are inspired by typical ingredients and flavors found in most Asian cuisines. Replace a tortilla with a wonton wrapper, meat with ahi, pico de gallo with Asian slaw, and top it off with sriracha mayo to give it a whole new identity. Don’t be afraid to add wasabi as it brings out the freshness of the ahi.

Wonton wrapper: 4 each

Thai peanut dressing

4 oz. Ahi tuna (finely diced)

1 thin slice of Daikon radish

Sesame seeds

 

Asian slaw: 2 cups

1 cup Nappa cabbage (shredded)

¼ cup red cabbage (shredded)

¼ cup carrot (shredded)

¼ cup red bell pepper (julienned)

¼ cup Hot House cucumber (julienned)

*Combine all ingredients.

 

Wasabi: 2 tbsp.

*Mix wasabi powder and water to desired consistency.

 

Siracha mayo: 4 oz.

1 cup mayo

4 tbsp. organic whole milk

2-4 tbsp. Siracha hot sauce
