Byron Allen Series “Cars.TV” Wins Daytime Emmy For “Outstanding Lifestyle Program”

Entertainment Studios has earned the 2012 Daytime Emmy® Award for “Outstanding Lifestyle Program” for “Cars.TV.”

The 39th Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards is a presentation of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in cooperation with the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Two other Entertainment Studios series are also nominated for Daytime Emmy® Awards this year, both in the “Outstanding Legal/Courtroom Program” category: “America’s Court with Judge Ross” and “We the People with Gloria Allred.”

“Cars.TV” is both a television series and is also one of Entertainment Studios’ seven 24-hour HD cable television networks. The series was created by Byron Allen, who also serves as the show Executive Producer with Carolyn Folks. Additional team members are Supervising Producer Jennifer Lucas, Producer Brandon Tansley, and Co-Producer Joan Robbins.
